Johann J. Walther was a botanical illustrator 1604-1676. These reproductions are from his best know work a pictorial catalog of the gardens of the Count of Nassau- Idstein. There are just three original versions of this work Le 'Florilège de Nassau-Idstein'. 1664. Two are handprinted on vellum, one on paper. I had the privilege of seeing one of the vellum copies at the Bibilotheque National in Paris and the paper edition at the Victoria & Albert Museum. The print reproductions listed are from those two collections.

Poster Size: 12 x 16 inches Image Area: 8 1/4 x 10 inches - with a double metaliic gold rule around the image area. The posters are in excellent condition, they were printed in 1995 so there are some minor variances in the border areas that really are barely noticeable and probably not at all once framed. If matted there would be no issue as the image areas area all in perfect condition on all in the series.
