Tamara de Lempicka was an art deco painter, born in Poland and her best know period of work was produced in Paris, later in the United States. As art deco faded so did her career until in the 1960’s art deco again became very collectible and desired. La Jeune Ville in Vert is one of my favorites of her works which I was able to see in an exhibition the the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
